Federal and state tax forms are printed according to their specifications. These specifications are delineated in what is called the "schema".
If the schema specifies that a particular dollar line on a form print a number even if it's zero, then TaxSlayer Pro prints a zero on that line. On the other hand, if the schema specifies printing only non-zero amounts, then the line will be blank on the printed form.
TaxSlayer Pro has no input into the federal or state schemas, nor can we include in TaxSlayer Pro the option of printing zeros on a form when the schema specifies that zero dollar lines should be blank. If a zero dollar line is blank on a printed form, it's because the schema specifies it should print that way.
