In TaxSlayer ProWeb, if a consent form has been created in the Configuration menu, the form will be one of the steps in a tax return's e-file process under the menu "Taxpayer Consent".
In the consent form's configuration, if the "Required For Efile" check box is checked, the preparer will not be able to continue past this step in the e-file process until they indicate whether the taxpayer accepts or declines consent and enters the taxpayer PIN (and spouse PIN if filing jointly) and the date are entered. (These PINs can be the same as or different than the PINs on Form 8879.)
