The Fee Summary page in TaxSlayer ProWeb allows you to review the calculated fees in a return, change the calculated preparer fee (if your preparer role allows for this), opt your clients in to additional products if applicable and apply custom fees and discounts.
Standard Fees
The Standard Fees section breaks down the fees associated with the return.
The calculated preparer fee is based on the Fee Templates set up in the Configuration Menu and can be overwritten by entering a fee in the Preparer Fee field (only for preparers who have a role assigned to them allowing them to change the calculated fee).
Electronic Filing Fee and Document Prep Fees also pull from the Configuration Menu.
For a list of all forms included in the calculated preparer fee total, click on show itemized fees.
Partner Products
If you have enrolled to offer additional audit and or identity theft products, they will be displayed in the Partner Products section. The add on fee will also be displayed. Enrollment in partner products is completed within your TaxSlayer Pro Account Hub. Product Partner products are set up within the Office Setup section in the Configuration Menu.
Custom Fees / Discounts
If you have created custom fees or discounts in the Configuration section of the program, they will be displayed here if they were set up to charge by default. The fees and discounts can be changed if that's how they were set up in configuration.
If you have set up additional fees or discounts that were not set to charge by default, select the + sign to select which fees or discounts to apply to the tax return.
