The Accepted Returns report in ProWeb displays a list of all returns that have an acceptance acknowledgement from the IRS. The report displays the last 4 digits of the taxpayer's SSN, the taxpayer's last name, the office EFIN, the preparer's name, return tags if applicable, the type of return, the transmission date, the return status (Accepted), and the date the acknowledgement from the IRS was received. The report also displays old rejects if applicable and an amended return indicator.
To access the accepted returns report, from the ProWeb welcome screen, select:
- Reports
- Federal Transmission Reports
- Accepted Returns
The report can be saved in any of four formats (HTML, PDF, Excel or CSV) by selecting the option at the bottom of the report.
The Federal Non-Accepted Returns report displays a list of all electronically filed returns that do not have an acceptance acknowledgement from the IRS. This includes rejected returns and validation error returns. The Federal Non-Accepted Returns report displays the last 4 digits of the taxpayer's SSN, the taxpayer's last name, the office EFIN, the preparer's name, return tags if applicable, the type of return, the transmission date, the return status, and the date the acknowledgement from the IRS was received. The report also displays reject code information and an amended return indicator.
To access the Federal Non- accepted returns report, from the ProWeb welcome screen, select:
- Reports
- Federal Transmission Reports
- Federal Non-accepted Returns
