The IRS Acknowledgements report in ProWeb displays all new IRS acknowledgements. Once the report is viewed, the returns move to the Old IRS Acknowledgements report.
Access the IRS Acknowledgements / Old IRS Acknowledgements Report
To access the reports, from the welcome screen select:
- Reports
- Federal Transmission Reports
- IRS Acknowledgements or Old IRS Acknowledgements
Information Included in the Report
The IRS Acknowledgement report displays the following information:
- EFIN
- Last 4 digits of the taxpayer's SSN
- Taxpayer's last name
- Return status (accepted or rejected)
- Reject code and description for rejected returns
- ERO identifier
The Old IRS Acknowledgement report displays the same information based on EFIN selection and date range.
