The Transmission and Technology Fees are fees TaxSlayer Pro charges for processing bank product returns. These are automatically charged on every return with a bank application and is paid by the taxpayer via their refund.
The Transmission Fee is $6 and the Technology Fee is $18. This $24 base amount is set and cannot be changed. However, you have the ability to charge an additional Transmission Fee on each bank product return if desired.
To set an additional Transmission Fee, from the main page of your Account Hub:
- Select Bank Product Information
- Select the bank to which you are applying.
- Select the Added Fees section.
- Read the Added Fee Agreement thoroughly, then select the additional amount you would like to charge.
