TaxSlayer Pro charges transmission and technology fees to process electronically filed tax returns that utilize a bank product to facilitate payment of the refund. These fees are automatically charged on every return with a bank application and are paid by the taxpayer out of their refund.
The base transmission Fee is $6 and the base technology fee is $18. This $24 base amount is set and cannot be changed. However, you have the ability to charge an additional transmission fee on each bank product return if desired.
To set an additional Transmission Fee, from the main page of your Account Hub select:
- Bank Product Information - Select the bank to which you are applying.
- Added Fees - Read the Added Fee Agreement thoroughly, then select the additional amount you would like to charge.
