TaxSlayer Pro can be configured to allow you to select the printer to use when it's time to print. This setting is useful if you print to different printers directly from the program, i.e., not opening the document in PDF form first.
To enable selecting the printer, from the Quick Menu of TaxSlayer Pro select:
- Configuration
- Printer/Copies Setup
- Select Printer when Printing - Change this option to YES.
After changing this option to YES, any time a form or return is selected to print, you will be prompted to select the printer to use.
Note that this setting is unnecessary and should be set to NO if you don't print directly to the printer from the program but instead open the file being printed in PDF form first. When opening in PDF form first, select the printer to use within the program that is handling the PDF, whether Adobe Reader, or your web browser, or something else.
