ProWeb: North Carolina - Amount paid with request for extension

When a taxpayer makes an automatic extension payment to the state of North Carolina, the payment amount needs to be included on their North Carolina tax return.

To enter the payment made with the North Carolina extension, from the North Carolina Return menu select:

• Payments
• Enter the Amount you paid when you filed your Extension - Enter the amount.
