SecurelyID is a full-service identity protection and restoration solution that you can offer to your clients and is integrated within your TaxSlayer Pro software. For more information about the services SecurelyID provides to your clients, click here.
SecurelyID can only be offered by an ERO offering bank products, though the taxpayer does not need to utilize a bank product to purchase it. You can enroll in SecurelyID in the course of completing your bank enrollment application in Account Hub.
Configuring SecurelyID in TaxSlayer Pro
To activate or deactivate SecurelyID in TaxSlayer Pro, from the Quick Menu select
- Configuration
- Fees / Billing Setup
- Advanced Fee Setup
- Additional Fees
- Offer SecurelyID - Change to Yes or No as needed. If you are offering SecurelyID and would like to charge an additional fee for your clients who enroll with SecurelyID, you will be prompted to select the add-on amount.
SecurelyID Default Selection
If you have chosen to offer SecurelyID, you should indicate whether or not you wish TaxSlayer Pro to automatically add the service and charge the default fee (plus any additional fee you have added) to every return.
To change the default selection, from the Quick Menu of TaxSlayer Pro select:
- Configuration
- Fees / Billing Setup
- Advanced Fee Setup
- Additional Fees

SecurelyID Default Selection:
- Select Default to Yes to have SecurelyID automatically added to every return. If your client wishes to opt out, you can change it in the return.
- Select Default to No to have SecurelyID not automatically added to every return, and within the return you will have the option of adding it if the client wishes to purchase the service;
- Select Always Prompt to be prompted the first time exiting the return if the client wishes to purchase SecurelyID.
Adding SecurelyID to a Tax Return
Within a tax return, the SecurelyID menu item on the left side of the screen indicates whether or not SecurelyID is being added to the return. Select it if it needs changing.
