The Colorado resident individual income tax return calculates the TABOR refund if the taxpayer qualifies and the return is filed by the deadline, whether original or extended.
In TaxSlayer Pro, if you filed a Colorado individual income tax return on time with the TABOR refund calculating, but opening the return subsequently the TABOR refund isn't showing, you can revert the return back to where it was to showing the TABOR refund.
First, make sure the Colorado return is marked for electronic filing. Then, from the Colorado Tax Return Menu select:
- Personal Information
- Other Categories
- Return Accepted by Filing Deadline with TABOR Sales Credit - Change from No to Yes.
