When a taxpayer makes an automatic extension payment to the state of Mississippi, the payment amount needs to be included on their Mississippi tax return.
To enter the payment made with the Mississippi extension on the Mississippi individual income tax return in TaxSlayer ProWeb, from the Mississippi Return menu select:
- Payments
- Enter Estimated payments and/or amount paid on Original Return
