When a taxpayer makes an automatic extension payment to the state of Maryland, the payment amount needs to be included on their Maryland tax return.
To enter the payment made with the Maryland extension on the Maryland individual income tax return in TaxSlayer ProWeb, from the Maryland Return menu select:
- Payments
- Amount Paid with Extension
