When a taxpayer makes an automatic extension payment to the state of Louisiana, the payment amount needs to be included on their Louisiana tax return.
To enter the payment made with the Louisiana extension on the Louisiana individual income tax return in TaxSlayer Pro, from the Louisiana Tax Return Menu select:
- Total Refundable Credits and Payments
- Amount Paid with Extension Request
