When a taxpayer makes an automatic extension payment to the state of Kentucky, the payment amount needs to be included in their Kentucky tax return.
To enter the payment made with the Kentucky extension in the Kentucky individual income tax return in TaxSlayer Pro, from the Kentucky Tax Return Menu select:
- Payments and Credits
- Estimated Payments
- Amount Paid with Extension
