When a taxpayer makes a payment with their Idaho extension request or makes a payment to Idaho after filing a federal extension, those payments need to be included on their Idaho tax return.
To enter the payments made with the Idaho extension on the Idaho individual income tax return in TaxSlayer Pro, from the Federal Tax Return Menu select:
- Payments, Estimates & EIC
- State Estimated Payments
The amount will automatically pull to the Idaho estimated payments line inside the Payments, Refundable Credits and FORM 51 menu.
