A payment a taxpayer makes with their Georgia extension request or at the Georgia DOR website after filing a federal extension needs to be included on their Georgia tax return.
To enter the payments made with the Georgia extension (or any payments made before the filing deadline) on the Georgia individual income tax return in TaxSlayer Pro, from the Georgia Tax Return Menu select:
- Total Payments
- Payments and Credits on Estimated Tax
- Amount Paid with Extension
