When a taxpayer makes an automatic extension payment to the state of Alabama, the payment amount needs to be included on their Alabama tax return.
To enter the payment made with the Alabama extension on the Alabama individual income tax return in TaxSlayer ProWeb, from the Alabama Return menu select:
- Payments
- Enter the amount paid, if any, with Request for Extension
