North Dakota allows an exemption of military retirement pension income to the extent the income is included in the taxpayer's federal AGI.
To remove the military retirement income from the North Dakota individual tax return in TaxSlayer Pro, from the North Dakota Return menu select:
- Total Subtractions
- Military Retirement Benefits Pay Exclusion - Enter the military retirement as a positive number.
