New York allows an exemption of military retirement pension income from New York taxable income.
To remove the military retirement income from the New York individual tax return in TaxSlayer ProWeb, from the New York Return menu select:
- Subtractions from Income
- Certain Pension Income is Excluded from New York taxable income - Enter the military retirement as a positive number.
