Military retirement pension and annuity income is exempt from taxation in Mississippi and is not reported on the Mississippi tax return.
To remove military retirement income from the Mississippi individual tax return in TaxSlayer Pro, from the Mississippi Resident Return Menu select:
- Other Income
- Pensions/Annuities - Enter the military retirement income as a positive number.
