The Interest & Dividends Tax has been repealed for tax years after 2024. Form DP-10 will not be available after tax year 2024. This article applies to tax years 2024 and prior.
New Hampshire allows an automatic extension to November 15 to file Form DP-10 without an application if 100% of tax is paid by April 15.
Payment can be made online at Granite Tax Connect here. Otherwise, to pay by mail use Form DP-59-A, Payment Form and Application for 7-Month Extension of Time to File Interest and Dividends Tax Return.
To access Form DP-59A, from the New Hampshire Return menu select:
- Interest and Dividends Tax Return (DP-10)
- Miscellaneous Forms
- Payment Form and Application for 7-Month Extension of Time, DP-59-A - Select BEGIN, then select Yes to the confirmation question.
- Complete DP-59-A - Select BEGIN. If there is any prior year estimated payment carried over from last year, or any payments already made this year, enter those amounts.
ProWeb will fill in the remaining fields on Form DP-59-A and it will print along with Form DP-10.
