Maryland allows a military retirement income subtraction up to $12,500 for taxpayers under the age of 55, and up to $20,000 for taxpayers age 55 or older.
To subtract military retirement income from the Maryland individual tax return in TaxSlayer ProWeb, from the Maryland Return menu select:
- Subtractions from Income
- Military Retirement Income Subtraction - Enter the allowable portion of military retirement as a positive number.
