ProWeb: Maine - Military Retirement/Pension Income

Maine does not tax federally taxable military retirement income.

To deduct military retirement income from the Maine individual tax return in TaxSlayer ProWeb, from the Maine Tax Return Menu select:

  • Subtractions from Income
  • Pension Income Deduction
  • Total eligible military pension income - Enter the military retirement as a positive number.
