Kansas allows military retirement income to be subtracted from the Kansas individual income tax return.
To subtract military retirement income from the Kansas individual tax return in TaxSlayer Pro, from the Kansas Tax Return Menu select:
- Subtractions from Federal AGI
- Retirement Benefits Exempt from KS Income Tax
- Adjustments to Federal Amount - Enter the qualified military retirement income as a positive number.
