Illinois allows a subtraction of military retirement income.
To subtract the military retirement income in the Illinois individual tax return in TaxSlayer Pro, from the Illinois Main Menu select:
- Base Income (Income - Subtractions)
- Federally Taxed Retirement - Enter the qualified military retirement as a positive number.
