Illinois allows a subtraction of military retirement income.
To subtract the military retirement income in the Illinois individual tax return in TaxSlayer ProWeb, from the Illinois Return menu select:
- Subtractions from Income
- Amount of federally taxes retirement income on line 1 of your IL return that qualifies as a subtraction on line 5 of your IL return - Enter the qualified military retirement benefits.
