Hawaii allows a full subtraction of Military Retirement Income.
To subtract the military retirement income from the Hawaii resident individual tax return in TaxSlayer Pro, from the Hawaii Tax Return Menu select:
- Subtractions from Federal AGI
- Pension Exclusion
- Pension Exclusion not required to file HI Schedule J - Enter the full military retirement income as a positive number.
