If you attempt to mark the Georgia return for electronic filing and a PDF copy of Form G2 has not been attached then you will receive this message:
Missing PDF attachment for one or more Form G2 withholding statements.
To remove this e-file block, you'll need to attach a PDF copy of the taxpayer's Form G2 withholding statement. To attach this PDF, from the Georgia Tax Return menu select:
- Total Payments
- Other Georgia Income Tax Withheld - Select the G2 entry to edit it.
- Attach PDF copy of your Form G2-xx - Answer Yes to the confirmation question.
- In the Windows File Explorer window that opens, navigate to the PDF document, select it, and click Open.
Seeing (*) on line 7 indicates the PDF is attached.
