Form W-7 is used to apply for an ITIN and is attached to the tax return and mailed to the IRS. Form W-7 and the return can be printed on English or Spanish. (Note that not all IRS forms and schedules have a Spanish version.)
To designate which language to print, from the Quick Menu within the tax return in TaxSlayer Pro select:
- Personal Information
- Other Categories
- Print English or Spanish Forms - Select English or Spanish.
If you do not see the option to print English or Spanish forms in the Other Categories Menu in a tax return, you'll need to enable this option in the program configuration. To do this, exit the return, then from the Quick Menu select:
- Configuration
- Advanced Configuration
- Display Settings
- Option to Print Federal Forms in Spanish - Change to Yes.
