In TaxSlayer Pro, to remove or delete a W-2 that's been entered in an individual tax return, from the Main Menu of the tax return (Form 1040) select:
- Income
- Wages, Salaries, Tips (W-2) - Single-click the W-2 to select it, then click the Delete button. You'll be asked to confirm deletion. Select YES to delete.
Once a W-2 has been deleted, it cannot be undeleted.
If you start a W-2 by mistake, you can exit it by entering Ctrl + E on your keyboard, then use the above steps to delete it.
