If a taxpayer contributes to a North Dakota College SAVE account, a portion of the contribution can be subtracted from income on the North Dakota return.
Contributions to the College SAVE plan up to $5,000 per year, are eligible for a North Dakota state income tax deduction for those filing a single return; and $10,000 per year, for those filing a joint return.
To enter the deductible portion of the contributions in TaxSlayer ProWeb, from the North Dakota Return menu select:
- Subtractions from Income
- College SAVE account deduction
