In TaxSlayer ProWeb, in order to utilize a bank product to facilitate a refund disbursement in an individual tax return, you must have selected a bank to use in the Office Setup Menu in Configuration.
Selecting a bank is done in the first step in the E-File process. In the Return Details step, select the bank to use under the Federal Return section. Depending on the bank and the time of year, a list of available bank product e-file types will be displayed on the screen:
Select an option from the list that includes the bank's name. All other refund types that don't include the bank's name are IRS direct to taxpayer options, not bank products. If one of these options is selected, your preparer fees will not be deducted from the taxpayer's refund.
