The Submission Category of a State Submission must match Submission Category of the referenced IRS submission.
To correct this rejection, update the Maryland program, then open the Maryland return to apply the update to it.
To update the Maryland program, from the Quick Menu of TaxSlayer Pro select:
- Updates
- Download/Install Updates - Select MD
- Download
After updating, reopen the return, both federal and Maryland, to apply the update. Examine the Maryland return as it may have changed. When finished, exit the return and retransmit the Maryland return state-only.
