ProWeb: Why don't I see the option to transmit a Return?

In TaxSlayer ProWeb, on the Submission page in a tax return if you are not able to see the Transmit Return option there are three reasons this can happen:

  • The return is marked as a Paper Return. Verify that Paper Return is not selected under Return Type if you intend to e-file.
  • The return has not been marked complete. The return cannot be transmitted until it has been marked complete.
  • You do not have permission to transmit based on the role assigned to you.
