This reject indicates that the Document Number from the NYS Drivers License is missing from the return. NYS requires this document number for New York State-issued licenses and non-driver IDs only.

To correct this reject in TaxSlayer Pro, from the New York Return menu select;

  • Personal Information
  • Other Categories
  • Document Number from NYS ID - Enter the first three characters of the Document number from the Taxpayers/Spouse drivers license.
