Desktop: How Do I file an Application for Extension of Time to File for Delaware?

Delaware allows an automatic extension to October 15th by filing Form PIT-EXT. The form and payment of any balance of estimated tax liability due must be submitted by May 2.

To access the Delaware PIT-EXT, from the main menu of the Delaware state return select:  

• Miscellaneous Forms 
• DE Extension of Time to File (PIT-EXT)
