In TaxSlayer Pro, when marking a tax return with a refund for electronic filing and selecting a bank product option with an advance, you may see this message:
The bank is no longer accepting Pre Ack advances.
This message is only informational, letting you know that pre-ack advances, i.e., refund advances paid before IRS HUB testing begins, are no longer available. The advance selected will be processed as an in-season (or "post-ack") advance. Click OK and continue with the bank application process.
To stop the message being displayed, from the Quick Menu of TaxSlayer Pro select:
- Configuration
- Electronic Filing / Bank Setup
- Bank Setup Menu
- Can Offer Pre-Ack Advances - Change from YES to NO. (If for some reason this menu line won't toggle to No, indicate No to offering advances, then Yes to offering advances.)
