Printing in ProWeb can be done from multiple places, and for guidance on where to print in the program please see our article ProWeb: Printing a Return. Since ProWeb is a cloud-based software, errors when printing are rare but they can still occur. If you see an issue while printing a return, whether it is a timeout message or an error page, follow the tips below to correct it.
Since ProWeb is a cloud-based software, it runs program updates and new features automatically. If an older version is "cached" in your internet browser, it can cause problems when utilizing the program.
To clear cache:
- Press CTRL + H keys together.
- Choose Clear Browsing Data.
- Choose the checkbox Clear Cached Images and Files.
- Open a new browser page and log back into ProWeb.
Restart your computer
Sometimes clearing cache and closing the browser may not be enough and your computer may need to be restarted. This allows everything to shut down and start back up fresh, ensuring anything hung up in the background is closed.
Use the correct Internet Browsers
ProWeb works best with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. If you are having issues with a different browser, please log in to ProWeb with either Chrome or Edge.
Internet Explorer has been phased out by Microsoft and should not be used. It will cause multiple errors and issues within the program. If you prefer Internet Explorer, we recommend using Edge instead of Chrome.
Safari users may also experience issues. If you are seeing issues in your Safari browser, please log in to the program using Chrome or Edge.
