If you are unable to see all of your clients in your TaxSlayer ProWeb Client List, try the items below to see if any of these remedy the problem.
Is your Client List filtered?
If the Client List has been filtered at all, the returns you see will be limited to the filters you have set. To see if the Client List has been filtered, pay close attention to the top of the Office Client List page in your ProWeb program.
- Filter by Status should be set to Any Status.
- Filter by Return Tag should be set to Any Tag.
- Ensure there are no checks next to the boxes Do Not Show Deactivated Returns, Do Not Show Accepted Returns, and Do Not Show Paper Returns.
- Ensure there is no date range set in the Date From and Date To fields.
- Date Type should be Create Date.
- Search Client List should be blank.
Is your preparer account limited to see only your own returns?
If you can see some returns, but not all, it's possible that your preparer account has been set to only view your own returns. If you have access to Configuration, you can change this.
From the Welcome Page of your ProWeb office, select:
- Configuration
- Preparer Setup
- Click Edit next to your preparer account
- Can view own returns only? - Ensure this is unchecked.
If you do not have access to Configuration, ask the owner or manager to change this setting for you.
Is your preparer account set to hide accepted returns?
If you cannot see any accepted returns, it's possible that your preparer account has been set to hide accepted returns in the Client List. If you have access to Configuration, you can change this.
From the Welcome Page of your ProWeb office, select:
- Configuration
- Roles and Permissions
- Click Edit next to the Role that is assigned to your preparer account

If you do not have access to Configuration, ask the owner or manager to change this setting for you.
