If you sent documents to your client via the Customer Portal for them to sign, and they have told you that they signed them but you aren't seeing the signatures in the Submission step of the E-File process in TaxSlayer ProWeb, refresh the web page. This typically solves the problem.
If you are unable to see the signatures after refreshing the page, we recommend verifying with your client that they did indeed sign the documents. Signing documents in the Customer Portal is a two-step process:
- create the signature, then
- apply the signature to the forms.
Once they do these two steps, you should see the signature on-screen in the E-file Submission step.
