The office to office module in the Taxslayer Pro program gives you the ability to securely transfer encrypted returns over the internet from one office to another. This module was designed to help preparers that work in multiple offices within the company or offices that may not have a network established in their office. When a remote computer transmits to the other, there can be a delay in the receiver being able to retrieve the file. This year the program stores the sent files into a staging area on our servers and there can be a 15-20-minute delay before the receiver can retrieve the file(s), even though the sender immediately sees the message that the file has been uploaded to Taxslayer Pro.
NOTE: This option can only be run from the transmitting computer.
