If you use TaxSlayer Pro, there are two ways to access Client Status to find out why a tax return was rejected by the IRS or the state taxing authority: within TaxSlayer Pro and in your web browser.
Client Status in TaxSlayer Pro
If you are logged into TaxSlayer Pro:
Click the Icon in the toolbar at the top of the screen

In the Quick Menu select Client Status
