Desktop: Printing Business Mailing Labels

Business Return Labels

To print Business Mailing Labels, from the Quick Menu of TaxSlayer Pro select:

  • Business
  • Business Utilities
  • Print Mailing Labels - Select the option for the labels you wish to print, whether to print labels for all clients, labels for selected clients, or all labels for a particular tax return type.
  • If the label sheet is unused, select Print. If the label sheet is partially used, select the label to begin printing on.

A PDF page of the labels will open. When you select to print it, before clicking the Print button sending it to the printer, ensure the page sizing is "100%" or "Actual size". If "Fit" is selected, or some percentage less than 100%, the printing won't align with the labels.

Printing K-1 Labels

There are two ways to print Schedule K-1 labels for a return,

1. Within the 1065 or 1120-S return, to print Sch K-1 labels select select:

  • View Results
  • Print K-1 Labels

2. From the Quick Menu of TaxSlayer Pro select:

  • Business
  • View Business Return - Double-click the return.
  • Print K-1 Labels

A PDF page of the labels will open. When you select to print it, before clicking the Print button sending it to the printer, ensure the page sizing is "Actual size" or "100%". If "Fit" is selected, or some percentage less than 100%, the printing won't align with the labels.

Note: TaxSlayer Pro is configured to print on the equivalent of Avery 5160 labels, i.e., a label measuring 1" x 2-5/8" laid out three across and ten down on a sheet of paper.
