Desktop: Changing Form 1120 to 1120-S or Vice Versa

A corporation return (Form 1120) and an S-corporation return (Form 1120-S) can be changed to the other.

To change Form 1120 to 1120-S or vice versa, from the Quick Menu of TaxSlayer Pro select:

  • Business
  • Business Utilities
  • Change Corporation / S-Corporation Types

Note: Because the two returns are vary greatly, only the heading information is brought into the new return. Anything else including dollar amounts will have to be re-entered.
