Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is an electronic security system that requires two methods of authentication to verify your identity when logging in to an online account. The first method is your username and password. The second method is a security code.
TaxSlayer Pro periodically requires MFA to access your Account Hub, and the MFA code can be sent to you by email or by text to your mobile number.
To ensure you receive the code, your mobile number and email address need to be up to date in Account Hub. Verifying or changing your MFA mobile number and email address in Account Hub is simple:
- Log in to Account Hub.
- In the left side menu, click Account Information.
- Change the email address or mobile number as needed.
- Click Save.
