The ability to import data from taxpayer documents into a tax return utilizing FormGenius is integrated in every ProWeb Office. This feature is however, is not enabled by default for any pre-existing role/permission (unless no role has been assigned to a preparer). To allow preparers access to this feature, their assigned role/permission must allow it.
To edit a role/permission to be used, from the ProWeb Welcome page select:
- Configuration
- Roles and Permissions
- Select the Edit icon within the Role that you want to edit. In the Documents section, ensure that Access scanned documents and Allow document import are selected:
