If a taxpayer owes additional taxes to Georgia during the year, they may be required to make estimated tax payments for the following tax year to the state. In some cases, this may result in a refund, which they may choose to apply toward the following year's estimated tax payments.
To apply the Georgia refund to the next years estimated tax payments, from the main menu of the Georgia return select:
