If a taxpayer owes additional taxes to Arizona during the year, they may be required to make estimated tax payments for the following tax year. In some cases, this may result in a refund, which they may choose to apply toward the following year's estimated tax payments.
To apply an Arizona refund to the next year's estimated tax payments, from the main menu of the Arizona return select:
