Where to enter tax paid on Real Estate Sale on a West Virginia Nonresident return
To enter tax paid for the sale of real estate on a nonresident West Virginia tax return in TaxSlayer ProWeb, from the tax return summary page of the return, select:
- Federal Section
- Payments & Estimates
- Other State Withholdings

Enter the amount of tax paid in the appropriate field and select West Virginia from the dropdown selection menu
Next, navigate to the West Virginia nonresident section of the return and select:
- Payments
- Is Withholding from Non Resident Sale of Real Estate? Select Yes
